I’m trying to figure out my profession and career path
Vocational guidance and career guidance help weigh your education and career options and clarify plans at different stages of life.
You and your expert will discuss career choices during the job search discussion. If necessary, your expert can refer you for coaching or, for example, to a vocational guidance counsellor. With the vocational guidance counsellor, you can discuss your life situation, personal qualities, work-related expectations, interests and previous training and work experience. The guidance discussions are free of charge and confidential.
The vocational guidance counsellor will not choose your profession for you, but works with you to find different options that fit your situation. Everything is based on your wishes and requirements and the opportunities available in different fields. The goal is to find the solution that best matches your strengths, abilities, interests and health.
Career coaching
Career coaching focuses on opportunities for competence development, analyses your existing skills, identifies your competence development needs and creates a concrete competence development plan. The coaching offers you the opportunity to explore a variety of training options and can include familiarising yourself with educational institutions. The goal of career coaching is that you will know what field is suitable for you, understand how you can develop your expertise and apply for training.
This coaching is for you if you need to update your skills to meet the demands of working life or if you need retraining due to changes in the labour market, for example.
