Early childhood education plan
An individual early childhood education plan is made for each child. The child’s early childhood education plan is an agreement between the guardians and daycare staff on how to support the child’s individual growth, learning and wellbeing. The child’s special support needs and support measures are also entered in the early childhood education plan. A separate decision is made on whether the child needs special support.
The early childhood education plan is made on the basis of discussions between the guardians and staff. The plan is reviewed and updated throughout the child’s time in early childhood education and care. Discussions with guardians to review the plan are held twice a year or more often if necessary.
