Kurkela school

Kurkela school was founded in 1987 and moved into a new building in 2017. There is basic education for pupils from 7 to 16 years and a kindergarten for smaller children in Kurkela.

In Kurkela school we develop learning and teaching in a pleasant, stimulating and safe learning environment. We emphasis study skills and pupils’ responsibility of their studies. We value individuality, activity and social interaction. Our pupils learn by exploring phenomenon in hands-on projects.
